The concept of Red Truck Produce came about one evening when Rachael had cooked Brock a great tasting salmon steak. He thought that it would be nice to have a fresh vegetable with it. Being right before their scheduled grocery shopping trip, Brock was out of luck. He thought of how nice it would be to always have fresh produce in the house, instead of only right after you shop. That is when the idea of produce delivery popped into his head.  ‘People have milk and frozen foods delivered to their door. Why not produce? Think about it. It would reduce shopping trips and impulsive purchases, guarantee freshness, and the fridge would always be full of a variety of fresh produce. ‘    Rachael agreed.

Brock and Rachael Merrill are Southeast Idaho natives. Raised by a carpenter, Brock learned how to work hard as a young boy. He went on to own a successful residential construction business. He and Rachael also bought a local restaurant which they restructured, grew, and sold at a profit. During these ventures they learned that quality and value go hand in hand. Now, through Red Truck Produce, they are excited to bring to you quality produce at a reasonable cost direct to your door.

Besides tapping on watermelons and smelling the cantaloupes, Brock and Rachael and their three children love to boat, water ski, and camp in the summer and snow ski in the winter. Rachael is a certified massage therapist.  Having been taught the same work ethic that their parents have, you can be sure that their children will be in there helping bring you the freshest produce around.
