How does Red Truck Produce Work?
You shop on our website for your produce needs, we hand pick each item and place them in one of our red insulated boxes, and deliver your order to your home! Super easy! Super Convenient!

What is a “Recurring Order”?
This is a way to guarantee you will get your fresh produce delivered every week like clockwork! You are still able to change your order at any time before the cut off time if you would like, if not, you will receive the same order you placed the week before. Most customers tend to purchase the same produce items with little change week to week. This is the easiest and best time saving way to receive your order, but if you notice you are starting to add the same items to your recurring order just add the new items, update, and that becomes your new recurring order! To make your order a recurring order, simply click "make this a recurring order" on the bottom of the  page that confirms your shipping and billing address.

What is the $0.75 packing fee?
This is a fee we add to each order to maintain the insulated bags that come in the red boxes.

How do the plastic bins work? Why the $10.00 deposit.
We deliver your produce in insulated plastic bins that protect the freshness of the produce and we request that you put the bin out for pick up on your next delivery day. Each customer is assigned two plastic bins. These bins are rotated with your delivery. On your first delivery there is a refundable $10 deposit charged for the plastic bins. If you choose to cancel service and return the bins you will be issued a credit. If you forget to set out your bin, we will deliver your next order in a new bin with an additional deposit of $10 until it is returned upon which you will receive a credit for the deposit. If we are unable to collect your bins after several deliveries, we will charge you for the bins.

When do I need to finalize my order?
You will need to have your order placed by 8:00 PM two days before your scheduled delivery day. Please refer to the delivery areas at the top of the page to see which day your produce will be delivered.

When is my delivery day?
It is two days after you order. For example, if you order anytime before 8pm on Monday, you will receive your order on Wednesday. See our delivery areas tab for more information.

How do I know when my produce will arrive?
It is hard to pin point or promise an exact time. We can assure you that our insulated bins will keep your produce fresh for several hours on your porch, and once you receive your first order we will try to be as consistent as possible. If you are concerned about your time, please feel free to contact us and we can arrange for a phone call before it is delivered.

Do I need to answer the door?
No, in fact, we will probably be gone before you get to the door. First, we will grab last week’s box that you left out for us… Second, we will leave the new box of fresh produce on your door step and…Third, we will ring the bell or knock and be on our way. You open the door only when it’s convenient for you.

Do I need to sign a contract?
Absolutely not! You can discontinue your service at any time. We are so confident you will love our service that there was no need for a contract.

What if I’m not in your delivery area?
You can have your items delivered to an office address in our delivery area or get several people around you to agree to sign up and contact us. We may be able to make an exception. Also keep an eye on our website; we will be adding new delivery areas as we grow!
